"Hello all, Its been a while since I checked in. I missed our 10-year as I have been living in California since '98. Married now to my lovely wife Kendra for 5 years. She was born and raised in the Bay area. We live in Sunnyvale which is 15 minutes north of San Jose and about 45 minutes from San Francisco, unless you hit 101 traffic in which case it might be several hours. Our 2nd baby was just born 6 weeks ago, a beautiful daughter, that we've named Selah Esther Rae. My son Isaac is now almost 3 and provides me with most of my entertainment & exercise these days. It's funny how I never appreciated the arbitrary, free time I had until now. I work as a security/authentication specialist for VeriSign in Mountain View, CA, which is in the heart of what they call the "Silicon Valley". Within 15 minutes of my house, in any direction, are: HP, Apple, Google, Yahoo, Motorola, VeriSign, eBay, the list goes on.....It's interesting to jump on the class site every once in a while & see what everyones up to. I guess a good portion of us have reached the parenthood stage at this point. That's all for now. Drop me a line to say hey. I'm in the office at VeriSign M-F. or email."

There have been many diapers changed, but I'm glad that our family will be so close in age. I'm teaching physics at Saginaw High School and do a little work for a local college as well. I still return every year to Utica to run the Boilermaker (I'm the guy who is double fisted during the party). I hope everyone is doing well, it's nice to hear the news from the class. Kind of brings you back home."

Jacqueline Moreau Giruzzi, email, from Ilion, NY, sent news. (Feb 28, 2006)

"Hey guys...what's going on? After reading through all the past submissions to this site I decided to make this short and sweet. I have now had my fourth child! After all the trauma that we went through we decided to have one more. Her name is Adrianna Rose and she was born July 4, 2005. I could not name her Independence...anyway she is awesome. I have 2 girls and 2 boys. Still an MRI tech and loving it. We finally built our house on Brook St. We have been living here for over a year since we moved in January 2005. So much fun being pregnant and moving. I have not seen many people since reunion and we could potentially have a 15 year reunion next year. A real sign that we are getting up there in age is when my 12 year old daughter considers the 80's music weird old music. Now I know what my parents felt when I called their music from the 60's weird or old. Oh well, take care all."

She is such a blessing and a joy to us! In summer of 2003 we moved from Durham, NC to Sioux Center, IA. Matt has finished his graduate studies and is a professor at Dordt college, here in Sioux Center. We have had some time to get used to Iowa and in general we like it. We are too far away from friends and family, though! I have been staying home with Grace and am enjoying that very much!"

"Hello everyone, just thought that I would update on the happenings down here in Hamilton. My husband and I had a beautiful baby boy on November 3rd, 2003. Zachary James Bernard who is now 9 months old and trying his hardest to walk. 5 days before Zachary came, my younger brother Larry and his wife had a baby girl named Jessica Lynn (after me) Stone. Even thought they live in Kentucky, we have seen them several times and they are so fun to watch together.

My position at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton has changed, I am no longer working in the ICU, I have taken a position as the Infection Control Practitioner. Even though I miss the direct patient care, I love my job and learn more every day about keeping our patients free from infection while they are in the hospital. My husband has decided not to go to PA school, but has gotten certified in MRI and is running the new MRI department at Oneida Healthcare."

In the summer of 2003, I moved to Mooresville, North Carolina, (which is just North of Charlotte), and am currently the supervising Occupational Therapist for a local school system here. I cover approximately 35 sites within the county I work in, and oversee the school system OT program. This position was an excellent opportunity for me to advance in my career, as well as a positive change in my life. I hope everyone is doing well, drop me line, I always love to hear from old classmates." - Kristen

Jacqueline Moreau Giruzzi, Addictions Specialist, email, from Ilion, NY, registered in the directory. (September 29, 2003)

"Hello again!! Well I finally finished x-ray school last year and I have been working at an outpatient MRI facility (CMI). Dave and I had picked out our plans to build on Brook Street and we were going to start fall 2003. Here we are and we have not started yet. My kids are now 9, 7 and 4 and we are facing the decision to re-locate to Charlotte, NC.

Long story short, despite any rumors anybody may have heard, I will give a glimpse of the truth of what has been going on. My husband, as you may or may not know is a cattle dealer. The middle man for farmers and auctions. His job is to drive with truck and trailer to farms/various places to pick up and transfer cattle. At the end of the day he comes home to Ilion. As a dealer, he needs to carry money to conduct his business. On August 6, this year, an acquaintance of his met up with him early in the morning while he was starting out his day on a farm in Frankfort. Unexpectedly and for no other reason than money, this guy attacked my husband, stabbing him 3 times in the neck, groin, and right lower back. Dave fought for his life and after dragging this kid Andy along side his truck down the road, he escaped and drove himself, truck and trailer with a bull loaded to St. Elizabeth's ER.

By the grace of God, the stab wounds did not touch any vital organs and he was released from ICU after 3 days. Needless to say that this kid is on Herkimer County Jail now. Dave is strongly considering a career change. The kid is charged with Attempted Murder in the 2nd and First Degree Assault. The trial should start in January. I hope he is sentenced to the maximum, which in NY it is 25 years.

A nightmare yes. But it has caused me to do a lot of soul searching since. As I bring my kids to the pop warner games that they cheer/play flag football for, I feel like just yesterday we stood on that field for graduation.

I miss all of you. How simple life was. Yes very boring at times, but so many great memories. Next time we all get together, let's let it be at a huge bonfire wherever. Amanda, I just read one of your updates about the music we listened to. So funny but it will always be a part of everyone of us who shared those times together.

I will stop hogging all the space. I hope all of you are doing fine and Heather, if you are reading this . . . I am so sorry for whatever I did or said that upset you so much that you were able to throw our friendship away like you felt you had to do. Call me, I would love to talk. Anybody , feel free to write, maybe I will catch you next time you are "home". If not see you at the 20th!"

"Well, it's been a bit since I have been home and I really haven't seen or talked to many people from back home in quite some time. I have been married for almost two years to my wife Jeanne. We have a beautiful 3 year old daughter name Oksana Maria and there soon will be a son to grace us with his presence in July. So we have damned ourselves to the ballpark for he next 20 years. Unfortunately, last summer we lost a daughter at birth, but Jadelyn is always with us as a reminder of how humbling life can be. We are entertaining thoughts of returning to the village to live, but sure are enjoying not suffering through the long winters. Feel free to give a call or drop an email, we would love to hear from you. IF anyone sees Scott Nelson give him my number. Thanks."

We have a lot of forest land surrounding our home. I currently work for Lexington ARC in their residential homes as Direct Care Staff. I enjoy my job. "Attention class of 1992"

What would a class of '92 reunion be without a proper soundtrack? Could Stoney walk through the door to anything but Steve Miller (ok- maybe the Cars.) Would Angela and Carrie D walk away happy without hearing "The Right Stuff" played at least once? And what about those of us who spent our Friday nights shivering by the bonfire listening to "Love Bites" while waiting for a ride back to McDonalds?

In order to make the reunion dinner (Saturday the 27th of July) as wonderfully reminiscent as possible I'd like to ask all of you to submit a list of songs that most remind you of your high school days. Please only 3 Bon Jovi songs per submission (just kidding.)

Thanks and "Don't worry, be happy" - Amanda

"I have received numerous emails lately inquiring about my status as it pertains to operation "Strong Resolve". I have responded to those emails and to those classmates I would like to extend my thanks for your concern. For those of you who plan on contacting me, I will let you know what I know so far. My chances of getting involved in the Afghanistan conflict are negligible. I am preparing to move to San Diego in January and I highly doubt anything other than that happening. This is not to say I am glad that I am not involved. I am quite prepared to do the job I am trained to do and I will be standing by until called.

I would like to recognize the sacrifice of any classmates who have been called to duty. I understand what it is like to be a thousand miles from home for many months in foreign lands and I salute you. Hopefully everyone will return home safe so we can all get together for the 10 year reunion. Ultimately that may not be the case, but that is the price of freedom. I look forward to seeing all of you. Later " - Craig

"I'll come clean with everyone and let you know I have been a class news voyeur for the last few years. I derived great pleasure reading the updates that you, my fellow classmates, so eloquently wrote, without actually posting any news concerning myself. I could no longer carry the guilt and last week I finally decided to leave my self-imposed exile from the class of '92 website, and reveal my whereabouts. By using this forum I also can eliminate a lot of the "what are you doing/where are you?" questions that I will certainly answer repeatedly if I make it to the reunion next year. Here is a brief synopsis of the last 3 years. In April of '98 I earned my wings after 2 years of flight school. I reported to HSL-40 to learn how to fly the SH-60B helicopter. After 6 mos, I reported to my first fleet squadron, HSL-42 (Helicopter Anti-Submarine Light), and started workups for my first deployment. I deployed on the USS Monterey from Sept'99 through Mar'00. During the deployment I had the opportunity to visit Rome, Cairo, Seychelles, and Gibraltar. In Sep'00 I made another deployment, this time on the USS Ticonderoga to S. America(Atlantic Coast). I will leave HSL-42 in January and as of now I do not know where I am going. In all likelihood, it will be in a flight instructor capacity somewhere. I am looking at try at the airlines when my time is up in 2005. Just to let you know what a small world it is, I just had a guy from the class of '86 check into my squadron. We did a lot of name dropping. If anyone is in the area (Jacksonville) within the ! next 6 months, let me know. Blah, Blah, Blah " - Craig

"I feel like I'm the last one in my class to post a message here. Better late than never? After graduating from HCCC I spent two years at Colgate where I majored in Art & Art History and left with a BA. I did a few things from there including work as a waitress on an island off the coast of Maine, as an au pair in Rome, Italy and then with a small auction house (Skinner) in Boston. I've since moved to Manhattan and have been working at Christie's for the International Director of 19th & 20th Century Paintings. I'm starting to toy with the idea of entering grad. school and becoming a specialist in Contemporary art. I love my job and adore the city. My apt. is in "Hell's Kitchen" (midtown-west side) 51st Street between 8th and 9th Ave. around the corner from the Letterman studio and Rockefeller Center. I've managed to avoid the altar but am happily dating a few special someones. Contact with IHS Alumni usually occurs during trips home for Holiday vacations and those are occurring less frequently every year. I hope everyone is doing well and that Billy will get this 10 year reunion organized (with no help from me...?!)" - Amanda
