![]() William Edwards - IHS 1932 - PharmacistWilliam Edwards was born in Granville on June 19, 1911, a son of Ellen Thomas and Robert Edwards. He was a 1932 graduate of Ilion High School. He graduated from the Albany College of Pharmacy in 1935. He was married to Agnes Dillon on July 4, 1938, in St. Mary’s rectory, Little Falls. He was employed for seven years as a druggist in Little Falls and was a laboratory technician at the Charles Hansen Laboratory. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and of Little Falls Lodge, 181, F&AM. William Edwards died suddenly, at his home, 76 Loomis St, Little Falls, on May 1, 1951. He was 39 years old. Surviving were his wife, the former Agnes Dillon; one son David and one daughter, Denise, also his mother, Mrs. Robert Edwards, 42 Spring St., Ilion. Funeral services were held from the home of Mrs. Edward's mother, Mrs. Anne Dillon, 26 Skinner St. The Rev. J. Harold Thomson, pastor of the Presbyterian Church and chaplain of the Little Falls Masonic lodge officiated. Members of the Masonic Lodge conducted their ritualistic service at the Dillon home. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Herkimer.
