40TH REUNION PLANS NEWSLETTER

Dear Fellow Classmates,

Just a few notes to bring the class members up to date.

Another meeting regarding the plans for the 40th Reunion to be held on October 8 and October 9, 1999 was held on September 16th. Attending were Fred Paschke, Frank Geloso, Bob Ladd, Peggy (Wood) Casale, Carolyn (King) Remis, Mayme (Maneen) Fluharty, Carol (Geragi) DeBiase, Jeanne (Bennett) Ganey, Lois (Emrich) Hendrie, Jane (Foisy) Smithson, Jean (Kennell) Greig, Bev (Kelly) Ames, Kathy (Mackin) Coffin, Betty (Geer) Bouck, Diane (Bouck) Allen and Karen (Smith) Sauer.

Again, discussion was held on the plans:

Friday night informal gathering at the K of C
Saturday morning Breakfast/Brunch at the K of C
Saturday night Dinner/Dance at the Whiffletree

The dates and places are now confirmed. Plans for some daytime activity (for those interested) on Saturday after the Brunch are still being worked on.

Mayme (Maneen) Fluharty is in charge of the food for the Friday night informal gathering. It was decided by the committee that there are enough of us still in the Valley that we could the bring snacks. Needless to say, drinks will be available at a cash bar. The menus/cost for the Saturday Brunch and Dinner/Dance will be decided at the next meeting.

Hopefully, someone is a pack rat and has some pictures, memorabilia etc., that could be shared with all of us, as displays at the reunion. Please put name and address on them so they can be returned and sent to:

The next meeting is scheduled for January 20, 1999 at 7:00p.m. at the K of C. Hopefully all the plans can be finalized and a mailing sent out to everyone.
