Margaret 'Lynn' Crist Webster

1955 - 1997

Springfield Center - Mrs. Margaret "Lynn" Crist Webster, 41, passed away February 6, 1997, at home.

She was born September 23, 1955, in Herkimer, the daughter of Francis and Patricia (Krebser) Crist. She attended Ilion High School was a 1974 graduate of Springfield High School. She married Terry Webster in the Richfield Springs Catholic Church in 1974.

Lynn was survived by her husband, Terry Webster; three children, Corey, Kerry, and Brandon Webster, all of Springfield Central, her father and stepmother, Francis and Patricia Crist of Springfield Center; her mother and stepfather, Patricia and Donald Peters of Velrico, Florida; a brother, Francis (Bub) Crist Jr. and wife Eleanor of Springfield Center, a sister, Victoria (Vicky) Delong and her husband Richard of Ilion; special nieces and nephews, Sarah, Becky, Matt Delong, Melinda and Jordan Crist; and other nieces, nephews and step-family members and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Florence Webster of Springfield Center.

She was predeceased by a sister, Tracey McCutcheon, who died in 1982.

A memorial service was held at Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley, with Mr. Lyman Johnson officiating.

Lynn had a great love for animals, therefore in lieu of flowers, the family asked that contributions in her memory be made to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, R.D. 3, Box 64B, Cooperstown 13320.

Note - Lynn moved away from Ilion and did not graduate with the IHS Class of 1974. However, she was at one time a member of the class. She attended the informal gathering for the 20th Reunion in 1994.
