Jackie Stubley Thomas - Author .....
Classmate, Jackie (Stubley) Thomas, authored the book, How to Clean Your Holes , in 2019. The book is available from Amazon.com. Below is the description from Amazon.com. September 27, 2020
This book is a realistic view of trying to get children to clean up their act when it comes to hygiene. It's not polished and not fake, but it gets the point across to kids that make them listen in a lighthearted way to keep them clean. This is a funny book to read and to help kids know a little more. It's funny but not funny when you get a health problem. It's funny but not funny when you are afraid. It's funny but not funny when it hurts. It's funny but not funny when a doctor is needed. Educating kids on cleaning our bodies is something that we take for granted. We teach our kids every day. We forget to reteach because we think they got it drilled into their brain. In reality, as the experts would say, children's brains are like sponges. That's right. They go right back to their original, main form-the untaught, if not retaught, form or the form of youthfulness. So if you don't teach, reteach, and reteach again, they forget. So teach kids about our bodies that need to be kept clean so it doesn't rot!

Class of 1979 - 30th Class Reunion Planning From Joe Joy.....
There is a small group from the Class of '79 who would like to get the ball rolling on a 30-year reunion (seems that we all let "25" slip by!). We have been given - Friday, July 17, 2009 as the date for next year's "Doo-Dah Parade"...so, Joe Joy, Dave Thomas and Mike Miller have booked the downstairs dining room at the Ilion Elk's Lodge for Saturday - July 18, 2009. The thought is to have our reunion the night after the "Doo-Dah Parade" which, is a very popular time for reunions anyway. There's always a lot of IHS Alumni in town that weekend anyway... For those who have never been...it really is a good time!
So, Saturday - possibly a buffet with a DJ...nothing fancy...just plain fun. We're getting too old for a lot of pomp anyway!!
Obviously, at this point - the primary concern is getting in touch with everyone! Please send me an email when you can so that we can build a data base with everyone's contact info (address, email address, phone etc, as much or as little as you'd like...just so that you'll receive ALL of the details). Also, please pass this along to anyone that you have contact with. Lastly, anyone who'd like to help... that would be great!!! (Nov 24, 2008)
20th Class Reunion
Reunion Update from Mike Miller
The class reunion has been set for 4th of July weekend.
Classmate responses and interest in attending the reunion have been great! We even expect the turn-out to exceed the very successful 10 year!
We are attempting to organize a tour of the High School and a golf outing. One or both of these activities may be planned for Saturday morning or during the week before or after the reunion weekend. If you are interested in participating, please contact John.
The cost of the reunion is $80 per couple or $50 per classmate, which includes dinner and open bar Saturday night, plus all food and drink for the picnic. There will be a few extras as well! Please mail a check payable to "IHS Class of 79" to Bridget or Joe no later than June 1st.
There will be a DJ spinning 70s tunes Saturday night. Casual dress is OK. Please remember to bring your cameras - as well as lawn chairs (if possible) to the picnic.
As a special request, we are soliciting pictures from the 10 year, so we can construct a collage. Please help! Contact Vicki directly. Pictures will be returned.
We are also producing a classmate directory and biography. A request for information will be sent shortly. If you have any questions or ideas regarding the weekend events, please call one of us below. Also, please provide a current e-mail address if available. Many classmates are communicating over the internet.
Now for the most important thing:
Please confirm your attendance no later than June 1st!

Jeff admits, "I guess it's a little difficult to call it winter when the temperature seldom falls below 50 degrees, " and says, "Several of our classmates have met my wife, Vimon (pronounced Vee-mon). She is a beautiful Oriental girl from Thailand. Our children look a little like Mom and a little like Dad. Both are very cute, or so we are told. We purchased our first house a few years back, and remodeled the entire house, inside and out by ourselves. It took a couple of years to complete, and I still have one room to go: the Master Bedroom and Bath. It will be complete by Thanksgiving. We invested $20,000 into remodeling and have increased the value of our home by $40,000. We just recently purchased a Gateway PC, and are currently using our 100 free trial hours of internet time. We are both pretty green on the computer still, in fact our seven year old son seems to know his way around it better than we do. His favorite computer game is "Monster Truck Maddness 2", which can be played over the internet. So any of you MTM2 players looking for internet play, give him a call. There is a quick summary of my family. Anyone that wishes may drop us a line."
