"After a grueling, but rewarding, career of performing in Italy's finest venues, I find myself back in the Northeast port of Boston which has served as my foundation and home for most of the past decade. As much as I would love nothing more than spending a relaxing week in my penthouse suite with my pure-bred pooch, Landis (no relation to Floyd) whilst my celebrity chef pampers me with epicurian delights, alas, works calls. As if being an award-winning, international singing sensation isn't enough to keep me busy, I still find time to dabble in luxury commercial real estate. Of course it's a thrill to get a standing ovation from an audience of thousands, but it's also quite rewarding to say, "Yes, I own that Saks Fifth Avenue!" It's such a pity there are a mere twenty four hours to a day. And I haven't even touched on my charity work or latest political campaign!
But, really, as I won't be able to attend the 10 year reunion in person (I did try to coordinate a live, video feed, but, alas, it is too short of notice) I should take this opportunity to clear up the tabloid rumors. No, I did not win the Boston Marathon. I came in a respectable eighth place. I am not currently serving as the ambassador to France, I am merely a UN representative to Morocco. Yes, yes, my marriage into royalty did end rather badly, the tabloids mostly got that one right. But, as you can see, I certainly haven't let a little heart break slow me down.
Oh, but enough about me! Inspire me with your tales and journeys! The good and the bad, I want to know all. And, who knows, if that deal as replacing Oprah goes through, maybe I can share your stories with whole world! I can hardly wait to hear everything. Hugs and kisses to all! When in Boston, please do call my assistant to schedule a cappuccino with me. All the best!

I am hopefully looking into transferring to Vermont so I at least can get some snow to ski on. Well it's nice to see what everyone is up to and hope the best for you all. Keep in touch and be safe." - Erin
Roy Abeling, Student at Art Institute, Pittsburgh, PA, sent news. (modified March 21, 2000)
"I'm just updated this from last year. Same ole stuff here work, school, sleep. I'm sure everyone can agree with me on that one. But in 4 weeks I will be graduating form the art institute with a degree of specialized technologies in computer animation. It's been but very time consuming and a lot of work involved, but enjoy most aspects out of it. Well I must get back to my school work so I can have a nice demo tape, but just saying hello to everyone I haven't seen in light years it seems. peace." - Roy

"I am currently attending Hobart college in Geneva NY. I am still playing football and starting right offensive tackle. I would really like to hear from any of my old classmates, it seems that it has been too long already." (October 14, 1997)
Mike Henry, from Albany, email , the second alumnus from the Class of 1996 to register in the alumni directory. Mike is a Pharmacy Student. Here's an update from Mike.....
"Well I thought I would drop a note telling everyone what pharmacy school is like. So far I have two semesters of 17 credit hours and one of 18 credit hours. Many of fellow "Ilionites" are still here. We are all gearing up for the last bit of the semester, finals. Stress headaches are very common among us all up here. Hope everyone else is enjoying their college experiences." (December 17, 1997)
