Class Characteristics and Incidents

Last class to have Halloween party in the old stone building. First class from which commencement speakers were chosen. Began planting of the Boston ivy about the school buildings. Two debating societies formed this year. Lack of class loyalty and spirit. Its oddity. Being a bunch of dubs. Quiet demeanor. Absolutely nothing doing. Things were certainly dead. Three members read selections from Ovid, Horace and Cicero, in addition to the course of study. Number of purple seals earned. The honor of salutatorian had to be divided. Remarkable intelligence and quietness of members.
