These Brothers of the 'Bush-Wackers' have groomed many of you over the years.

The Ilion Sesquicentennial committee urges all males to grow a beard starting on January 1, 2002. Those who now have a beard are eligible to participate and beard growers are not restricted to village of Ilion residents. The beards are to commemorate the founding fathers of the village. Beard registration will take place in April 2002 in the Ilion Municipal Building Auditorium with news coverage for the "Brothers of the Bush". Date and time will be announced in the future. Those with ideas or comments regarding the beard contest are asked to contact John J. Janicki at 894-3146.
