Radio Stations, TK-99 and TK-105 are sponsoring FIREWORKS '99, presented by American Fireworks, Sunday - August 15th at Vernon Downs! Enjoy a full day of Classic Rock bands, followed by the largest fireworks display ever! (August 5, 1999)

The Ilion Civic Band will be performing once again during the Summer of '99, for the enjoyment of the residents of the Mohawk Valley. Under the direction of Paul Bork, the band will present a series of evening concerts in Ilion, throughout the Summer. The band is sponsored by the Village of Ilion and is made up of musicians from throughout the Mohawk Valley. All concerts are free and open to the public. The Village of Mohawk is sponsoring a Summer Concert series in the Weller Park Gazebo. Concerts are free (bring your own lawn chair) and concessions will be sold by the Mohawk Central School Students. All concerts are scheduled for Wednesdays, begining at 7 pm. The schedule is:
