Class Day at High School Class day exercises were held at the High School Saturday evening and were largely attended. The exercises were most pleasing and the play, "Penelope's Symposium," was well interpreted. The programme was as follows: Overture, High School Orchestra; greeting, Burt Hawkes; class history: Freshman, George Goller; sophomore, Stanley Gordon; junior: Albert Schesh; senior, Fred Reese; soprano solo and violin obligato, Anna Fisher, Richard Van Wiggeren. Playlet, "Penelope's Symposium," dramatis personae: Penelope, Margaret Shepard; Sappho, Florence Quinlavin; Aapasia, Lena Schwartz; Xanippe, Elsie Whitney; Gorgo, Luella Roberts; Praxinoe, Emma Chandler; Antigone, Flora Davies; Eutychia, Frances Lewis; Alkestla, Margaret O'Hara. Junior class song, 1915: revelations of the Sphinx, Albert Ross; presentation of the gifts to 1915, Carleton Schwartz; senior class song, 1914. The class officers are: President, Elliot Lester, Jr.; vice president, Arlene McDonald; secretary, Margaret Shepard; treasurer, George Goller.
