Fine Programme Will be Given Tuesday Night Next Tuesday evening the commencement exercises will be held at the new High School Building, which will be an excellent opportunity for those who have not visited the new building to make an inspection. Admission will be by ticket only. The programme is as follows: Overture, High School Orchestra; Invocation, the Rev. C. H. French; oration; "Steel, a Factor in Civilization," Stanley M. Gordon; essay, "The Problem of the Rural School," Arlene McDonald; essay, "The Long Road," Mary R. Carney; essay, "The French Revolution," Flora W. Davies; selection, High School Orchestra; essay, "The Magnified School," Edith Starring; essay, "The Growth of Music in America," Luella Roberts; essay, "Jessica and Rebecca," Lena Schwartz, oration, "The Need of Leadership," Fred Reese; announcement of honors, superintendent of schools; presentation of diplomas, Principal, L. O. Douglas; benediction, the Rec. C. H. French. The sermon will be delivered to the graduating class at St. Augustine's Church by the Rev. L. R. Benson on Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock.
