Ilion Alumni Elect Slate of Officers ILION - Members of the venerable class of 1930 and the quarter century-old class of 1930 will be singled out for special tributes at the annual banquet of the Ilion High School Alumni Association July 2 at the Elks clubhouse. ILION - Ronald Farrington was elected president of the Ilion Alumni Association at the annual banquet held at the Elks Club Saturday night. Other officers named were Mrs. Alice Farrington, first vice president; Harold McGrath, second vice president; Jeanne Comstock, secretary; William Meehan, treasurer. Fred Plunkett, president, said Robert Kerr, class of '30 will be toastmaster. The affair long has been held on the Wednesday following the Tuesday night graduation, but officers of the association decided to find out if alumni living some distance from Ilion will be better able to attend on a weekend date. On the arrangements committee are Louise Younglove, Kasson Winsor, Harold Walrath and Richard Powers. The class of 1930 graduated from the old Morgan Street School and include:
William Marriott, Also occupying a place of honor at the banquet will be these members of the Class of 1930, Harvey Watson, president; Mary Wasmer, vice-president; Edward Bowers, treasurer; Eleanor Tucker, secretary.
