Crash Victims' Rites Arranged

Ilion - Members of the Ilion High School football team will serve as active and honorary bearers at the funeral of David N. R. Cramer, 18, former squad member, who was injured fatally in an automobile accident early Sunday.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Presbyterian Church. members of the Senior Class and Varsity Choir will attend the services with members of the football squad.

Other pupils wishing to attend will be excused from school.

E. Martin Schwartz Funeral

The funeral of E. Martin Schwartz, 18, driver of the car, will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Whiter-Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Annunciation.

Schwartz, who was an apprentice toolmaker at the Savage Arms Corporation, attended Ilion schools until last June. He was driving the car of his stepfather, William Griffith, when it went into a skid and hit a parked truck near Little Falls.

The senior operetta, "Pirates of Penzance," in which Cramer was to have sung the second lead, will be conducted Friday and Saturday, as scheduled. David Chesebrough was named to take Cramer's part and the cast continued rehearsals, although not very spiritedly, Monday.
