Seniors Seeking 'Mirror' Autographs Ilion High School seniors, busy with examinations and graduation plans this week, are also hustling about, seeking autographs for their copies of the 1947 annual, "The Mirror." This year's school magazine, distributed at school closing last Friday, is dedicated by the students to George "Deke" White and Dan "Murph" Murphy as the "two who have given us the most loyal support possible in our athletic activities. The magazine appropriately bound in gold and brown, features an informal picture of the faculty at one of their banquets, individual pictures of each of the seniors; group pictures of the various high school organizations; and "home room" pictures of the freshman, sophomore and junior classes. Individual pictures of the football team members also fills two pages of the book. The Mirror Staff was pictured hard at work and includes the following: editor-in-chief, Ann Newton; senior editor, Sarah Davis; sports editor, David Doty; music editor, Marion Baker; photographic editor, LeRoy Outtrim; activities editor, Virginia Nelson; business manager, Samuel Nile; advertising manager, Thomas Kibbe; advertising layout, Lois Lyman; typists, Carolyn Deming, Arlene Thomas and Ann McHarg. The yearbook was also complete with special poems for each senior, the class will and prophecy, and a brief history of the organizations and future graduating classes.
