Ilion High Grads To Hear Dean Noble At Commencement

Dates and preliminary arrangements for the annual events incident to graduation at Ilion High School were announced this week by school officials.

Commencement exercises this year will be held on Tuesday, June 29 at the Capitol Theatre for one the smallest classes to graduate from Ilion High School in recent years.

The speaker will be Charles C. Noble, dean of Hendricks Chapel at Syracuse University, who" is highly regarded throughout Central, New York for his ability as a speaker.

Other important events scheduled for Ilion seniors following regents week, June 21-25, are the annual Class Night festivities on Friday night, June 23; the baccalaureate sermon on Sunday night June 27, with the Rev. Fred W. Ainslie the speaker and Alumni Night on Wednesday, June 30.
