Class Honors At Ilion High Are Announced ILION - Richard Hall, son of Mrs. Elizabeth Hall, 85, S. Third Ave., will be valedictorian of the Ilion High School Class of 1953 and Doreen Pelletier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pelletier, 80 S. Fifth Ave., salutatorian, Principal Joseph Baker announced at assembly yesterday. Hall has an average for four years of 94.67. He has been active in the Science Club, Orpheus Club and has taken part on the staff of the year book. He also participated in tennis and bowling and was in the Senior play and TriCity play casts. Miss Pelletier's four year average is 93.94. She has been active on the school paper staff, a cheer leader, member of the Orpheus Club, Library Club and the Mirror staff. She also took part in the TriCity play and was student director of the Senior play. Averages of eight other high school seniors announced are: Mary Lou Meiser, 92.78; Mary Elizabeth Winsor, 92.53; Shirley Ryden, 91.52; Jane Anne Haughton, 90.65; Garry O'Connell, 89.75, Charles Wood 89.49; Patricia Mason, 89.46; and Rita Stagg, 88.99.
