Captain Kidd To Roam at Prom

ILION - Captain Kidd's boat will rock softly in the middle of the Ilion high gym during the annual Senior Prom to be held June 19. Never, never land will be the theme of this year's prom with Walt Disney's famous characters forming the main idea of the decorations. Soft music will be rendered by the "Journey Men," a nine piece band from West Winfield. The belle of the prom will be crowned queen by her escort at the mystical hour of twelve.

Co-Chairmen

Bob Deming, Larry Thibault, and Dick Hall are the co-chairmen of the event assisted by the following committees, Donn Ahern is chairman of the decorations committee with Fran Capes, Alethia Crisler, "Ernie" Eberle, Mary Ellen Hardy, Ken Humphrey, Ronny Jones, Patte Mason, Mary Lou Meiser, Doreen Pelletier, Sue Power, Barb Putnam, John Remmell, Rita Stagg, John Stephenson, Charlie Thibault, Marj Thompson, Lynn Thompson, Jim Wheat and Betty Winsor forming the committee.

The refreshments committee consists of Bob Bergin, Janice Butterworth, Margurite Carr, Mervin Covell, Florence Grizzuto, Jane Anne Haughton, Nancy Donahue, Dick Klippel, and "Shade" Murphy.

Advertising Heads

Advertising is under the direction of John Benthall, Phyllis Bishop, Gwen Connelly, Dick Coupe, Nancy Donahue, Barb Garlock, Janet Hannahs, Ann Hanson, Gloria Meade, Bob Meade, Elinor Prince, Janet Watchers, Marj Thompson, Betty Winsor, Ann Murphy and Shirley Lewis.

The music committee had as its chairman Dick Merchant and included, Florence Grizzuto, Patte Mason, Sue Power, and Joanne Earl. The tickets are being arranged by Dale Connors, Ray Morton and Garry OConnell. The program committee includes Nancy Denapole, Beverly Horn, Janet Getman, Shirley Disotolle, Eleanor Smith and Ann Cuda.

Members of the sales committee are Betty Cashman, Hilda Crouch, Joanne Earl, Barb Garlock, Mary Ann Marine, Sally Paul, Mary Ellen Roberts, Jewel Scanlon, Shirley Ryden, Barbara Smith, and Joyce Williams. On the technical crew are Bill DeLude, Daws Dunham, Dave Hecox, Dick Klippel, Mike Palmer, Dick Pettingill, "Gigi" Reynolds, "Bucky" Riddell, Roger Smithson, Bill Whiter, Cliff Williams, Chuck Wood, and Glen Drake.
