Ilion High Informative - By Regina Stefanishyn

ILION - The winter sports team defeated Frankfort last Saturday for an additional 30 points toward the Iroquois League All-Sports trophy. The win helped keep Ilion to the lead for this honor.

So far the Ilion table tennis team has not been defeated. The Golden Bombers defeated Herkimer cagers Saturday in two exciting games. The Jayvees won 58-53 with Donald Keddell tallying 17 points for high scorer.

Ilion's varsity won its game 3-52 as James Willey racked up 25 points as high scorer.

Student council presented a program at the PTA meeting last Thursday night to tell about various committees to the council and what they have done throughout the year.

The entire seventh grade will go Albany Tuesday for a visit to the Capital building and other points.

The following seniors have been accepted to college: John Brewer at Albany; Judy Cormia, MVTI; Sharon Finnegan; Cobelskill; Margaret Keddell, Oswego; Patricia Luczynski, Geneseo.

"Good Night Ladies," the senior class play, will be presented April 17 with the following taking part: Roseanne DeJohn, Pamela Sherman, Germain Folsy, Roger Fortuna, Paul Maxfield, Marsha Applegate, Elaine Volo, Andrew Bugal, Carol Green, Deborah Miles, Thomas Plunkett. Marilyn Earl.

The girls' volleyball team has begun its season with wins against Frankfort. Team 1 won 0-8, 9-5, 15-4. Scores of Team 2 games were 13-7, 15-8 for Ilion.

Frankfort took the Team 3 games 10-8, 10-12 and 0-12 and Ilion won the Team 5 contests 15-5 and 156.
