'Spring Concert' Set At Ilion

ILION - "Spring Concert" comprised of music from Bach to Rodgers and Hammerstein, will be presented by the Ilion High School music department at 8 p.m. Wednesday in high school auditorium.

Junior high girls chorus has selected to sing "Green Cathedral," and "June Is Bustin' Out All Over" from "Carousel."

Junior high mixed chorus will feature Wallace Gay as soloist of "Kyrie" from "Mass in G Major." Soloists of "Tell Tale Heart" will be Terry Abeline, Jeff Coffin, and Paul Flint, accompanied by Aileen Carney.

The Junior high girls' sextet, consisting of Terry Abeline, Erin Bouck, Mary Daily. Terry Kelly, Heidi Merritt, and Nancy Winslow, will feature "Mayday Carol" and "My Favorite Things" from "Sound of Music."

"I Ain't Down Yet" from "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" will be sung by Phoenix, the senior high girls group. Diane Polley is the soloist in "Hi Lille. Hi-Lo."

"Jean" from "The Prime of Miss Brodie" will be sung by Orpheus, accompanied by Jeanne Williams and Denise Wengert. Orpheus will close the program with "Benedictus" with | Deborah Lawrence and Steven Applegate as soloists.
