Eagle Award To 'Todd' Weller

ILION — Donald 'Todd' Weller, 16, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weller. 63 Second Ave. [St.], Ilion, received the Eagle Scout award last night at a Court of Honor at the Ilion Elks Club.

Todd, a member of Troop 58 which is sponsored by the Elks Club, has been active in scouting for the last five years.

In order to get his Eagle Scout award, Todd earned the following merit badges: Camping, cooking, citizenship in the community, citizenship in the nation, nature, conservation of natural resources, personal fitness, first aid, swimming, life saving, safety, soil and water conservation, motorboating, coin collection, home repairs, music, fishing, pottery; metalwork, public health, pets, forestry, wildlife management, and firemanship.

Other awards presented last night were: Michael Savage, first class; Scott Yardley and Peter Becker, second class.

Merit badges awarded were: David Rasbach and David Skramko, lifesaving; Russell Outtrim, public speaking: Scott Yardley, bookbinding; and Donald Lowe, photography and drafting.

Service awards presented were: John Peterson, Kenneth Lowe and David Skramko, six years; Russell Outtrim, Donald Lowe, David Rasbach and Donald Weller, five years; Kevin Gould, Donald Hart and Robert Manion, four years; Charles Lester and Scott MacKenzie, three years; Peter Becker, Michael Savage and Scott Yardley, two years; and Michael Dack, George Miller, Robert Parkhurst. Louis Sheffield and Kenneth Tillmzhast, one year.
