The 11 am. Ceremony started with the processional and the traditional playing of Elgar's "Pomp and Circumstance," with Mrs. Nellie D. Snell at the organ.
Rev. Gregory J. Mulhall, of the Annunciation Church delivered the invocation, followed by a singing by the audience of "America the Beautiful."
The Salutatory Address entitled, "Where Are We Going?" was given by Peggy Nile after which the Valedictory Address, "The Spirit of '74" was given by Kathleen Morris.
"Climb Every Mountain," Rodgers and Hammerstein was presented by the senior class choir under the direction of Heidi Merritt.
The diplomas were presented by George E. Anderson, president, Board of Education; James H. Dunn, superintendent of schools; Leo J. Sammon Jr., principal.
After the diploma presentation, the audience joined together for the singing of the Alma Mater.
Rev Daniel Koike, of the First Baptist Church, of Ilion delivered the benediction.
The recessional was, "Trumpet Tune and Voluntary," with Mrs Snell at the organ.
