Receives Math Medal

ILION - Miss Peggy Nile, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samual [Samuel] H. Nile, Jr., of 8 Armory St., a junior at Ilion Senior High School, has been named to receive the Rensselaer Medal, an award given by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, in recognition of outstanding achievement in mathematics and science.

This medal was inaugurated in 1916 by RPI to encourage high school students to pursue a career in mathematics and science, and entitles winners to compete for Rensselaer Medal Scholarships.
