HELEN PANARITES of Ilion won the recent John Mott Junior Hardcourt girls' singles tournament at the Parkway following an absence of some length from the Utica tournament picture. The Valley youngster is a scholastic and athletic whiz. She won 16 letters in Five different sports, achieved the highest scholastic average in Ilion high school history and is headed for Harvard University.
