High schools throughout Herkimer County held commencement this past weekend beginning Friday night and concluding yesterday afternoon. Seniors who were members of the Ilion Junior-Senior High School Choir sang together for the last time during commencement Saturday morning, providing music for the occasion. Tom Arduini, left, choir director, leads the group in a song. Besides Ilion, area schools holding ceremonies were Mohawk, Poland, Mount Markham, Herkimer, Frankfort-Schuyler, Dolgeville, Little Falls, Owen D.
