Andrea Brenon, email, from Boston, MA, wrote..... (July 27, 2006)

"After a grueling, but rewarding, career of performing in Italy's finest venues, I find myself back in the Northeast port of Boston which has served as my foundation and home for most of the past decade. As much as I would love nothing more than spending a relaxing week in my penthouse suite with my pure-bred pooch, Landis (no relation to Floyd) whilst my celebrity chef pampers me with epicurian delights, alas, works calls. As if being an award-winning, international singing sensation isn't enough to keep me busy, I still find time to dabble in luxury commercial real estate. Of course it's a thrill to get a standing ovation from an audience of thousands, but it's also quite rewarding to say, "Yes, I own that Saks Fifth Avenue!" It's such a pity there are a mere twenty four hours to a day. And I haven't even touched on my charity work or latest political campaign!

But, really, as I won't be able to attend the 10 year reunion in person (I did try to coordinate a live, video feed, but, alas, it is too short of notice) I should take this opportunity to clear up the tabloid rumors. No, I did not win the Boston Marathon. I came in a respectable eighth place. I am not currently serving as the ambassador to France, I am merely a UN representative to Morocco. Yes, yes, my marriage into royalty did end rather badly, the tabloids mostly got that one right. But, as you can see, I certainly haven't let a little heart break slow me down.

Oh, but enough about me! Inspire me with your tales and journeys! The good and the bad, I want to know all. And, who knows, if that deal as replacing Oprah goes through, maybe I can share your stories with whole world! I can hardly wait to hear everything. Hugs and kisses to all! When in Boston, please do call my assistant to schedule a cappuccino with me. All the best!

Andrea
