![]() Edward Kerr - IHS 1925 - PharmacistEdward Kerr was born in Ilion and graduated from high school in 1925. He graduated from the Albany College of Pharmacy in 1927. He was a resident of Schenectady from 1947. Edward was a sales representative for the Eli Lily Drug Co. in Schenectady. He was a member of the Schenectady Pharmaceutical Association, the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, and St. Helen's Church. Edward Kerr died March 14, 1966 in the Schenectady Hospital after a short illness. He was 58 years old. Surviving were his wife, the former Christine Hadland; a son, Capt. Edward J. Kerr, Jr., of the USA in Germany; two daughters, Miss Sally Kerr and Miss Nancy Kerr, both of Schenectady; a brother, Joseph Kerr, of Ilion; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Miller, of Ithaca; Mrs. Walter Watson, of Colonie; several nieces and nephews. Services were held from the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady, and from St. Helen's Church, with celebration of a Requiem High Mass.
