Ilion Graduates 169 In Morning Ceremony
ILION - Graduation diplomas were presented to 169 Ilion High School seniors this morning during commencement ceremonies on the high school athletic field.
Distributing the diplomas were Russell Putnam, president, board of education; James H. Dunn, schools superintendent; and Leo J. Sammon, Jr., principal.
Dunn presented the following commencement scholarships:

The program included an organ processional, followed by invocation by Rev. Gregory J. Mulhall, pastor, Annunciation Church, and comments by Christine Mey, salutatorian, and Georgia Sternberg, valedictorian.
The Senior Class Choir performed during the ceremonies which included benediction by Rev. George B. Greene, rector, St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, and an organ recessional.
