Ilion - The Ilion High School commencement program at graduation ceremonies today lists a large number of academic, service, citizenship and other awards and scholarships received by members of the Class of 1973.

The commencement program paid special tribute and recognition to the following: Mrs. Doris Kegel, fifth grade teacher retiring after 33 years service; Mrs. Betty Greene, first grade teacher at West Hill School, retiring after 32 years; Mrs. Alice Baldwin, sixth grade teacher, retiring after 33 years
Recognized also was retirement of Vincent Durant, building custodian of East Frankfort School since 1960, and most recently in the junior-senior high school.
