Ilion Athletes

ILION ATHLETES were presented letters and awards last night at the annual Block I Dinner at the high school gym. Several of the athletes were selected for major awards on the basis of their performance during the past school year.

Bob Lane, winner of the Lever Cup and the James Allston Award;
Rolly Yardley, the Knights of Columbus Award;
Tom DeLong, the Richard Lewis Award and co-winner of the Leo Golicki Awards.

Back row -
Dave Sullivan, the Unsung Hero Award;
Bob Manion, the Rocky Cramer Award and the Kim Torbitt Award;
Kevin Earl, the Dale Johnson Award and co-winner of the Leo Golicki Award.

Other major awards went to
Jeff McTiernan, the Francis Murray Award;
Dave Keddell, the North Side Athletic Award and the Outstanding Tennis Player Award;
and J.J. LaFlair, the Outstanding Golfer Award.
