Homecoming '92 was filled with many memorable experiences. It began on Monday, when we tied the Jugglers into knots by wearing ties. Tuesday we jolted the Jugglers back in time, by dressing in clothes from the past. On Wednesday, we wore hats and caps to prove we were planning to decapitate the Jugglers. Thursday, we came to school in our pajamas to signify that we wanted to jam the Jugglers.
All of this creativity led up to the traditional Brown and Gold day, on Friday. The homecoming pep rally was held ninth period, on Friday. We chose Eugene "Twerp" Brownrigg and Kim Duga our 1992 king and queen . The court consisted of: Joe Helmer and Julie Wardle from the senior class, Sean Fitzgerald and Jessica Richards representing the junior class, Matt McCann and Trisha Blovat from the sophomore class, and Mike Henry and Karen Murphy representing the freshmen. And, of course, the seniors came out on top by winning the spirit contest!
On Saturday, the Bombers still had their enthusiasm from the pep rally, even though it was a rainy day. At half-time, the float contest winners were revealed with the seniors capturing first place, followed by the sophomores, the juniors, and finally the freshmen. Unfortunately, the Bombers didn't win the game, but we sure did try!
The weekend was brought to an end with the Homecoming dance and the class games. It was certainly an exciting and memorable weekend!
