The Ilion Board of Light has published an 18 month calendar that celebrates 100 years of service. The calendar spans July 1999 - December 2000. It features many old photos of Ilion and historical information on the Board of Light and village. Utica's annual Good Old Summertime Festival will be held Monday, July 12th, 1999 to Friday, July 16th, 1999.

Frankfort Days were held July 16th - 18th, 1999.

Herkimer's annual General Herkimer Days will be held Monday, July 29th - 31st, 1999. (July 25, 1999)

The Year 2002 marks the Sesquicentennial, (150th) anniversary, of the incorporation of the Village of Ilion. In preparation for this gala event, The Ilion Days Committee is initiating a project to produce a video series that captures the essence of 'Old Ilion'.
